Twin Cities MN Corsets 25-27 October 2025
Establish or refine your own Firm Foundation! Join us in-person in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis-St. Paul Minnesota this October for a fantastic weekend hosted by the Living History Society of Minnesota.
Friday 25 October, evening: Foundations Session & Social (hosted by LHSMN).
Saturday 26 October, full day: cut, fit, and assemble your custom-fit mid-19th century corset (1830s to 1870), with additional working or social time in the evening.
Sunday 27 October, to mid-afternoon: construction and finishing, including customized boning plans to suit your figure and activity needs.

Attendees should plan to bring 1.5-2 yards sturdy cotton broadcloth for test fitting, machine, basic tools (scissors, pins, seam ripper), cotton thread.

Test-fit boning (plastic)
Optional German Artificial Whalebone from genuine North Atlantic Artificial Whales. This item is easily cut and shaped, holds up well to prolonged use, and has the flexibility of mid-century baleen.
