Clothing The Saints: Trek Prep
All of the resources on The Sewing Academy site are appropriate for Trek activities!
This page is a quick reference to some of the most useful pieces of mid-19th century clothing to add to your Trek plans, as well as some additional resources to help everyone get clothed accurately, safely, and in as budget-friendly a way possible.
Trek is NOT historical reenactment. It is a modern experience that uses a few historical elements to take people quite deliberately out of their “normal,” opening them to new learning, insights, connections, and experiences.
Using historically-inspired clothing can enhance those goals. The greatest comfort and safety are found in using the historical systems as closely as possible!
You will need to open the links on a device with a PDF reader installed. (Titles not in red are waiting to be uploaded; please check back!)
